ASHWORTH OUT OF LYNN TRIP

Friday July 13, 2007
SHEFFIELD will be without Ricky Ashworth for their daunting trip to Premier League treble winners King's Lynn tonight.

Ashworth is still nursing a badly swollen wrist after a horrifying crash at the Four Team Championship in Peterborough last weekend and the Sheffield Window Centre-backed side will operate the rider replacement facility - which means skipper Andre Compton can take one of his rides.

"I'd like to be back, but this meeting and the one at Workington tomorrow has come too soon for me," said Ashworth. "I hope to be back at home to Somerset next Thursday."

Tigers will be looking to avoid a repeat of the humiliating 75-15 whitewash experienced at the hands of King's Lynn on their last visit to Norfolk in March.

KING'S LYNN: Tomas Topinka, Chris Mills, Daniel Nermark, Trevor Harding, Paul Lee, James Brundle, Benji Compton.
TIGERS: Ricky Ashworth R/R, Ben Wilson, Andre Compton, James Birkinshaw, Joel Parsons, James Cockle, Paul Cooper.
