SHEFFIELD Tigers are back in action after a frustrating break due to the weather when Isle of Wight Islanders visit Owlerton on Thursday (7.45pm).
The Islanders arrive in South Yorkshire in a bouyant mood after their Premier League Pairs success at Somerset last Friday.
Chris Holder, who is certain to move to the Elite League with Poole next season, is the man to beat and he is the current joint track record holder at Owlerton, the fastest track in Britain.
Tigers, backed by Sheffield Window Centre, are at full strength as they look to keep their position at the top of the table.
Co-boss Neil Machin said: "The Isle of Wight are a very solid team and Chris Holder is true class. He has what it takes to be a world champion in the future and he will be worth the admission money alone.
"But they have a very solid team and we know Jason Bunyan likes our track because he made guest appearances when top riders were injured in the past."
Sheffield's Premier League clash at King's Lynn last night was postponed and quickly re-arranged for next Friday, July 13.
