WEEKEND PREVIEW

Friday April 20, 2012
SHEFFIELD head north for two tough League Cup trips this weekend.

The Sheffield Window Centre-side head to Berwick on Saturday and then to Glasgow the following afternoon.

And they’ll be without key reserve Klaus Jakobsen who is still nursing a shoulder injury and needs more rest.

Australian Mark Jones had been drafted in as a guest replacement after impressing Tigers bosses when riding for Redcar against them recently.

Sheffield have been given a boost though with the news that Ricky Wells will no longer be competing in the Ukraine and will take his place in the side for both fixtures.

Boss David Hoggart said: "Ricky has been withdrawn from the under-21 meeting so he is back in for us. He goes well at both tracks so we are glad to have him with us."

Berwick: Ricky Ashworth, Jason King, Lee Complin, David Bellego, Sebastian Alden, Alex Edberg, Lubos Tomicek

Sheffield: Josef Franc, Hugh Skidmore, Ricky Wells, Richard Hall, Emiliano Sanchez, Joe Haines, Mark Jones.
