SCUNTHORPE V TIGERS - PREVIEW

Sunday April 08, 2012
SHEFFIELD Tigers continue their busy Easter programme with a trip to Scunthorpe on Monday (3pm).

And they go into the meeting in good heart after two impressive results against Redcar last week.

The Sheffield Window Centre Tigers picked up their first win of the season at home on Thursday before rescuing a brilliant draw in the return the following night.

Club owner Neil Machin said: "There is a buoyancy in the camp now after two good results and the boys are working through their gremlins. We pulled together at Redcar and got a result, and we need to pull together as a solid scoring unit again and then we give ourselves a chance.”

Sheffield are unsure whether Klaus Jakobsen will be fit enough to take his place after suffering an arm injury on Thursday and have called on in-form Brit Kyle Howarth to deputise should Jakobsen miss out.

SCUNTHORPE: David Howe, Josh Auty, Tero Aarnio, Thomas Jorgensen, Michael Palm Toft, Guest, Ashley Birks.

SHEFFIELD: Josef Franc, Hugh Skidmore, Ricky Wells, Richard Hall, Emiliano Sanchez, Joe Haines, Klaus Jakobsen/Kyle Howarth.
