SHEFFIELD Tigers launch a hectic Easter schedule on Thursday when they face Redcar in League Cup action at Owlerton (7.45).

And boss David Hoggart is desperate to see his side step up their performance levels after a stuttering start to the season.

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side travel to Teesside for the return on Friday before heading to Scunthorpe on Monday.

Said Hoggart: “All the boys are looking forward to this, it’s a busy spell and we need to get some results.

“We’ve had some teething troubles in the early part of the season and there has been some over-reaction to last Thursday’s defeat by Workington but that’s understandable.

“We want to see a big crowd on Thursday to start the Easter weekend in style and I would urge all our fans to back the boys.”
