RYE HOUSE V TIGERS, PREVIEW

Friday March 23, 2012
SHEFFIELD make an early start to Premier League action with a trip to Rye House on Saturday (7pm).

And the Window Centre Tigers will come up against one of their former riders at Hoddesdon, with the injury-hit Rockets having called up Josh Auty to guest at No.1.

Rye are without the injured Chris Neath, Jordan Frampton and Jason Bunyan, and intend to bring Danish star Charlie Gjedde into their side after Saturday’s fixture.

Tigers are unchanged from their useful work-out against Belle Vue, and former Rye House man Joe Haines – who impressed at Owlerton on Thursday – is hoping to take advantage of some inside knowledge to help his new team.

Haines said: “Everyone in the side will have ridden there before, it won't be too unfamiliar to any of the boys but if anyone needs any help then I'll be more than happy to give some advice.”

RYE HOUSE: Josh Auty, Ritchie Hawkins, Luke Bowen, Jordan Frampton R/R, Leigh Lanham, Ben Morley, Jason Garrity.

SHEFFIELD: Josef Franc, Hugh Skidmore, Ricky Wells, Richard Hall, Emiliano Sanchez, Joe Haines, Klaus Jakobsen.
