SHEFFIELD Tigers are bringing a taste of America to their last home meeting of the season on Thursday (7.45).

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed club bring the curtain down on another exciting year of racing with an international challenge against the USA touring team.

And the visitors have been bolstered by Elite League stars Ryan Fisher and Ricky Wells, who ride for Coventry and Wolverhampton respectively, alongside Workington’s Kenny Ingalls.

Sheffield owner Neil Machin said: “The Americans have pieced together a side who are sure to revel in the wide open spaces of our track and it should be a great night.

“Fisher is good value wherever he goes and Ricky Wells rode superbly for Poole on their way to the league title on Monday.

“Kenny Ingalls has had a good season with Workington and they are sure to provide good entertainment for the fans.

“This is our final meeting of the season and we will have the traditional fireworks spectacular after the meeting which is always good for the fans to enjoy at our last meeting.

“It also signals the last home meeting for Shane Parker who has been a revelation for us this season and I’m sure fans will want to come along and show their appreciation.”
