SEASON TICKETS VALID AT SEMI

Monday October 10, 2011
SHEFFIELD and Scunthorpe’s combined National League side will race the home leg of their semi-final at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Tuesday (7.30).

The original staging of the meeting, which Sheffield / Scunthorpe need to win by more than five points, was washed out at Owlerton on Thursday.

Fans who attended that meeting without seeing a race can use their rain-off tickets for the re-arranged fixture or they can be used as part payment for Thursday’s Owlerton meeting between Sheffield and the American tourists.

In addition, all Sheffield season tickets will be valid at Scunthorpe, including those who didn’t attend last Thursday.

It’s a gesture between the joint promotion which is aimed at getting as many people to Scunthorpe to back their bid for the Grand Final.

Sheffield co-promoter David Hoggart said: “It would be nice to see as many Sheffield fans as possible making the trip because it would be a fine achievement for us to reach a major final with our team of youngsters.”
