PLYMOUTH V TIGERS - PREVIEW

Friday September 30, 2011
SHEFFIELD make the long trip to Plymouth for more Premier League action tonight - and they are likely to be without Ricky Ashworth.

The Owlerton skipper pulled out of last night's thrilling win over Workington after aggravating the arm injury he sustained in the Premier League Riders' Championship at the weekend.

Should Ashworth fail to make it for tonight then boss Eric Boocock will have no alternative but to uitlise the rider replacement facility.

Gutsy reserve Ashley Birks is hoping to make the trip despite suffering a hand injury last night.

Tigers co-promoter David Hoggart said: "Last night was a fantastic meeting with a thrilling finish. The lads are battered and bruised but hopefully we can go to Plymouth and give a good performance."
