TIGERS V RYE HOUSE - THURSDAY PREVIEW

Wednesday September 07, 2011
SHEFFIELD Tigers continue their charge for a top three Premier League finish when they face Rye House at Owlerton on Thursday (7.45).

The Sheffield Window Centre-backed side are currently second with plenty of points in the bag ahead of the chasing pack.
Glasgow are runaway leaders and are on the verge of being crowned champions after a stunning run of form.

Sheffield are unchanged from the side which beat Ipswich convincingly at Owlerton last week and will start the meeting as clear favourites.

But Tigers owner Neil Machin also believes the Rockets have some serious strength on the fastest track in Britain.

He said: “Jordan Frampton always enjoys his visits to Owlerton and will be a force, Richie Hawkins is a former Sheffield rider and down at reserve James Brundle and Tyson Nelson have both been riding well of late.

“We certainly don’t expect to have it all our own way, but we are going for all three points. Nothing else will do.”

TIGERS: Shane Parker, Hugh Skidmore, Ricky Ashworth, Emiliano Sanchez, Josh Auty, Simon Lambert, Ashley Birks.

RYE HOUSE: Chris Neath, Richie Hawkins, Luke Bowen, Steve Boxall, Jordan Frampton, James Brundle, Tyson Nelson.
